A photography competition as part of the exhibit Whitehall - Past, Present, and Future, on display at the Nuveen Center November 6-23, 2010
 
Overview:  This photo exhibition is open to all students attending Whitehall Schools or  living within Whitehall School District.  All photographs must be original, and fall  under the theme Whitehall as we see it Now.  Each artist is invited to submit up to thee  photographs, 5" x 7".  Nuveen will provide black mats.  Nuveen reserves the right to  limit the number of photos displayed if we receive more submissions than we can  display, or if subject matter is inappropriate.  All photographs must remain on display  for the duration of the exhibit (November 6-23, 2010

Montague beats Fremont in Viewers Choice game

MONTAGUE (WZZM) -- The Fremont Packers were trying to end the season with a winning record as they visited the Montague Wildcats Friday in the 13 On Your Sidelines Viewer's Choice game.

The Wildcats lost their last home game to Shelby a couple of weeks ago.  But they took an early lead Friday night at Townsend Field.

Iisaiah Townsel punched in a short touchdown run and it was 7-0 Montague.

Their next play on offense had the Wildcats going to the home run ball.  Travis Cokerill laid one up to Anthony Root for a 40 yard touchdown.  Montague cruised to a 14-0 lead.

The Packers answered in the second quarter.  Jessie Reichele dragged tacklers into the endzone to put Fremont on the board with a score of 14-7.

The Wildcats answered and won the game 35-19.  Montague is 7-2.

Small Towns With Plenty Of Beauty – Whitehall & Montague

Take 31 North and get off at the Whitehall Exit (Colby RD),  you end up in a little town called Whitehall keep driving and eventually you see the gorgeous views of White Lake and a Bridge that connects to Montague, MI.
