(South Side of the Muskegon Lake Harbor Channel at Lake Michigan)

The Water, Woods, & Wetlands Regional Forum, hosted by WMSRDC, will feature presentations by water quality and natural resource experts.  Join us to hear presentations from the Michigan Office of the Great Lakes, Tip of the Mitt Watershed Council, Muskegon River Watershed Assembly, and others.  Topics include Michigan's sustainable water use strategy, harbor dredging, environmental cleanup, wetland habitat restoration and wetland policy, funding opportunities for non-point source water quality and fish and wildlife habitat improvement projects, hazard mitigation, and the latest on the Lake Michigan Water Trail.  

The program will also feature an interactive session to provide participants an opportunity for input on natural resources priorities for the west-central Michigan region.  An optional field trip to a 5-acre wetland habitat restoration project on the Muskegon lakeshore will also be offered as a last agenda item. 

A registration fee of $10.00 will include morning refreshments, lunch, and materials.  Please register by contacting Mary Seeger at mseeger@wmsrdc.org or by phone at (231) 722-7878 ext. 21. Please make check payable to the West Michigan Shoreline Regional Development Commission and include your name, organization, and contact information when registering.
