Montague student hit by truck's snow plow

MONTAGUE, Mich. (WZZM) -- A student waiting for a school bus early Monday was hit by a truck with a snow plow attached to the front.
Montague Area Public Schools Superintendent Jeffrey Johnson said a Montague High School Student was hit around 6:45 a.m. on West Fruitvale Road just north of Walsh Road.
She was crossing the road to get to the bus when she was hit by a truck and its snow plow.
The student was taken by ambulance to the hospital in Muskegon and then had to be flown by medical helicopter to a Grand Rapids hospital, Johnson said.
Her injuries are critical, but she is expected to survive.
