Tonight's weather is starting to look a bit threatening. Most people know that lightening and thunder will force a game to be suspended, but we thought you might want to know the exact details regarding inclement weather game delays and suspensions.

Whitehall 10th grader competes in Luge Nationals

Current 10th grade student, Riley Stohr, is competing at the USA Luge Youth National’s in Park City, UT where he currently stands in second place. Riley races again tomorrow (Sat. 2/25, at 11:00 a.m.)  If you’d like to catch the action tomorrow go to http://usaluge.org/live/liveevent2.php?event=72 where you can view the results and/or watch the live webcam.

Riley currently attends Michigan's Virtural University online classes thru Whitehall Schools.

White Lake Little League's final signup is Saturday

If you want to sign your child up to play Little League baseball or softball, the final registration opportunity is Saturday, March 3rd from 9am to Noon at Oehrli Elementary.

If your child is a first time player, you will need to bring a copy of their birth certificate.

January Slide CANCELLED

UPDATE: This Event has been CANCELLED due to a lack of snow...we are looking forward to a great January Slide next year!!

By sled, saucer, tube or snowboard, there are prizes to be won in the upcoming January Slide on the Hanson Hill located at North Mears in downtown Whitehall. Members of the White Lake Optimist Club and the White Lake Area Chamber of Commerce are organizing an afternoon of racing and competitions for all ages on Saturday, January 28.

Registration for the slide starts at 12 noon with races beginning at 1:00 pm.
