Remember to Stay Safe on a Boat

Remember to Stay Safe on a Boat

With a warm weekend approaching and visions of escaping the heat to your favorite lake enjoying a ride on your or a friends boat, remember to keep safety in your thoughts.  Something as simple as walking on a boat even with small waves can be quite challenging especially if you hurry or are distracted.  A wet surface can be very dangerous with to walk on when your shoes are best made for land surfaces.  Falling on a boat can quickly become a very serious issue with tight quarters or sharp angles or even a couple of stairs leading to a different deck.  So with a great weekend at hand, enjoy our wonderful lakes and water ways, but stay focused on safety and where your feet are headed and on what surface.
